The Meridien Hotel Group have done it yet again - a perfect blend of 5 star amenities, absolutely the finest service from who must be the best trained, yet friendliest staff around. Plus an absolutely awe inspiring location with architecture and environmental policies that make it one with nature. Journalist, Victor George Paddy said "Even the sea seems to be holding its breath". While the Internationally respected, if somewhat inappropriately titled tour book "The Rough Guide" says "In a gorgeous hillside setting.." and "The excellent main restaurant offers an adventurous mix of Thai and Western cuisine's, service is near-immaculate, and the hotel lays on the largest array of activities, sports and water-sports facilities on the island." So it is not just us who believe this to be one of the very finest hotels in the world. But at these prices, four things have to be said. First, they represent significant savings off their standard tariff. Two, that most people can afford to stay here at least one night. Third, if you only afford to spend one night here. For heavens sake, spend a night here. And finally, our most earnest advise, don't leave that reservation too long. The "secret" is definitely out!
