Sensational boutique suites hotel based on the original, famed Poppies in Bali. Absolutely the highest quality materials have been used and staff recruited, without making the hotel at all pretentious - in fact, the reverse. Extremely warm & relaxed, yet cultured atmosphere with the now widely acknowledged benchmark of a quality restaurant. No, this is not the least expensive hotel on Chaweng beach, but it probably is the best in terms of location, atmosphere, fashion and unashamed quality (especially for younger professional couples / families). Despite this, when you realise most other hotels charge families for an extra bed, these suites have extra sofa beds installed and allow up to 2 children to stay free of charge with their parents. All of a sudden, you have a real bargain price wise as well. Even then, if (you think) you can not afford to stay here. For heavens sake, don't pass up on the restaurant - it really is that good, even great. The trouble is, when you pop into Poppies for lunch or star lit dinner, you will suddenly realise you can afford / justify staying at this veritable paradise. The trouble is, with only 24 rooms, the chances are you will be too late and have the uncomfortable "pleasure" of kicking yourself for a long time after! How's that for a recommendation?
