Lamai Beach, Koh Samui. Right on the beach. A wonderful wide, white sandy beach ideal for sun bathing, swimming, volleyball and snorkelling (75 yards away). Set in generous and especially lush mature coconut palm & banana tree gardens, with many other native flora. 3 to 5 Minutes walk into Lamai Centre and it's wide range of fine seafood restaurants and shops. Lamai is a 15 minute drive from Chaweng (be advised, Chaweng is busier, larger, yet more cramped than Lamai though). This part of Lamai is therefore especially suited to couples, and for family holidays / vacations. 20 minutes from Samui airport, which itself is just over an hours flight from either Phuket or Bangkok.

Samui Airport / Ferry Transfers: Please take a taxi from the airport / ferry terminal as needed (approximate cost is 400 baht per taxi). The hotel can arrange an aircon taxi for outbound guests for around 300 baht for 1-2 people, 400 baht for 3-4.
Prices are in Thai Baht, INCLUDE tax (no service charges apply), but exclude breakfasts / meals.
Daily breakfast menu with 5 superb choices, including fresh ground coffee, is 100 baht per person. Breakfast is a mix and match type affair with 5 categories to choose from (eggs, meat, bread, fruit, beverages) with 5 options per category (e.g. fried, scrambled, poached, boiled, omelette). So you may have a balanced morning meal or order five orders of bacon if you wish!
This hotel does not currently have credit card facilities. Reservations for less than 5 nights will require a 100% non-refundable deposit. For 5 nights or more, 40% in low season and 60% in high. You will be required to make these in advance by bank transfer in order to receive a final reservation confirmation.

Absolutely wonderful place. If you want a hotel where you can watch the waves at breakfast, stroll across glorious white sands for a morning dip, and then head back to your room for a shower and balcony drying off session (why rush it?!). Where you can enjoy the beach without too many others around to spoil the view / atmosphere. And yet walk into the town centre for entertainment & alternative dining. The this place will "wow you", especially at these prices. The bungalows are laid out within generous grounds, to afford you the maximum privacy from your neighbours and the best possible views. This is a very popular place, enjoying high occupancy rates. Therefore, an early reservation is particularly recommended to avoid disappointment.
This is especially true of the beach side bungalows. There are only 4 of these, and only 2 of them are actually on the sand (the other two are set back and between these). However, if you use this service to make your reservation. Because this is a direct reservations service, your request goes directly to the hotel. This gives you the chance to reserve one of the beach front cottages, as you will be finalising details directly with the owner, Neal. Because we all know, there is "nothing" worse than booking well in advance, only to lose the chance of the "best" room to someone who turned up "out of the blue" a few minutes before you. Well, now you don't have to. That is, not if you reserve via this service anyway!
